Carol S. Dass is a Senior Instructor of Photography at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs,CO. where she is currently teaching The Plastic Camera and Alternative Photographic Processes classes. I shoot a variety of cameras/formats. My favorites of late have been the Holga, Rolleiflex, and a large format reproduction of a 19th century wetplate camera with a Dallmeyer lens. I have been collecting cameras and photographic imagery since college and still find great pleasure in looking through boxes of "instant relatives" in antique stores and flea markets. Sitting at a computer screen will never replace the magic, the meditation, and the joy of working in the darkroom!
